Facebook fined: 1.2 million euros by spain: Facebook has failed to secure the personal data of the users and now it has cost 1.2 Million euro as a fine. On Monday the Spain’s data protection watchdog has claimed that the Facebook has no such better methods for securing the personal data of the users from advertisers, and it has hitted Facebook with a fine of 1.2 million euros.

The Spain data protection Agency said, in Spain Facebook has only collected the personal data from users without introducing them to the purpose of information intake, and that is why its users don’t know where their personal information would be placed or used. The Spanish watchdog claims, that Facebook has been collecting its users data on sex, religious beliefs, their personal taste, their location but never clerify the porpose or the use of the specific information of users

Facebook fined 1.2 million euros by Spanish data watchdog

The sapnish Ageng claims that the Privacy policy of Facebook has some unclear terms, that don’t define its purspose of getting the personal information of its users, which breaking the term of law under the protection rules. According to the watchdogs, Facebook don’t delet the personal data of its users even when a users request to do so.

due to that such reasons the facebook is now hass to pay the fine of 1.3 million euro. But the fine of 1.2 million seems tiny if we take a look on the total advertising revenues which Facebook collected in second quarter. Facebook posted advertising revenues of over more than $9.2 billion
