Shocking! 13 Year Old Girl Rape: Mumbai Police Arrested Man For Rapping, Impregnating: Rape is becoming the major problem of every country. This rape case of Mumbai 13-year-old girl came to light two days ago when her parents take her to doctor to know the reason behind her illness and bloated stomach.

A 22-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl and impregnating her. He was an idli seller used to reside in the vicinity of the victim’s residence in suburban Kandivali.He got arrested last night and police took him to court and now he is in police custody till 16 august for further investigation.

Shrirang Nadgauda, Assistant Commissioner of Police-Malwani division said.

The exact day and time of the offence could not be known so far as the girl is in a state of shock and hasn’t told the police or the family members about her ordeal

The matter actually came to light when this 13 year old girl started feeling ill and her stomach started growing.Her parents took her to doctor to know the exact reason behind her bloated stomach.The doctor advised them  ultrasound test done.The test result shows that she was pregnant.

After knowing the test result her parents directly registered a case of sexual assault to Charkop police on Thursday.

Police said that although the exact date and time of the offense was not yet known. Police presumed that the crime was committed about seven months ago she is 28-weeks pregnant now. But due to the present law under the  Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act (MTP), say’s that abortion is not allowed after 20 week of pregnancy.

Police also said that the accused is booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Further investigation is still going on let’s hope the criminal got what he deserves.
